Press Release - Required Registration of Fire Alarms
In accordance with Ordinance No. 660-04, which was approved by the Council of the Municipality of Murrysville on April 7, 2004, any residential or commercial organization that has a fire alarm system which is connected to an alarm control center must register their system with the Municipality. Residents/businesses with hard-wired smoke detectors which are not connected to any alarm control center do not need to register with the Municipality. Forms may be obtained at the Municipal Building, 4100 Sardis Road, Murrysville or calling 724-327-2100, Ext. 104.
